PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction head for vacuum cleaner which head is small in size and having small pressure drop. SOLUTION: A first suction head 11 with a suction port 23 on the bottom face and a second suction head 10 having a second suction port 15 on the bottom face detachably mounted on the first suction head 11 are provided in the suction head for vacuum cleaner. When the second suction head 10 is mounted on the first suction head 11, the second suction port 15 is positioned above the first suction port 23 and the first suction port 23 is communicated with the second suction port 15. Because the first suction port 23 and the second suction port 15 are directly communicated in the vertical direction and a suction passage between the first suction port 23 and the second suction port 15 is shortened when the second suction head 10 is mounted on the first suction head 11, the air pressure drop becomes smaller to improve dust suction performance and large dust is hardly caught in the suction head 3 for vacuum cleaner and moreover the first suction 23 port and the second suction port 15 are overlapped in position. Accordingly the depth dimension of the suction head 3 for vacuum cleaner becomes smaller to enable the size to be smaller. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
