Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner improving heat exchange efficiency by smoothing the flow of air flowing through a heat exchanger while miniaturizing a casing. SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with the heat exchanger 3 comprising a vertical part 3a, a rear inclined part 3b bent backward from the upper end of the vertical part, and a lower inclined part 3c bent downward from the rear end of the rear inclined part, and a blower fan 4 in an air passage having a rear guider 8 connecting a suction port 1 to a blowoff port 2. The back face side of the rear guider 8 is provided with a by-pass passage 7 having an introduction part 5 which the downstream side of the rear inclined part 3b faces, and a derivation part 6 which the air passage faces.
