Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motive power transmission mechanism improved in terms of operational feeling, a lens barrel and optical equipment. SOLUTION: The motive power transmission mechanism is equipped with a first member (3), a rotating body (6) provided so that it can abut on the first member, rotating by frictional force with the first member in accordance with the movement of the first member and moving a second member (5) by such rotation, and a recessed and projecting part (12) provided at least on either the abutting surface of the rotating body on the first member or the abutting surface (3a) of the first member on the rotating body, and having recessed and projecting shape where recessed parts (12a) and projecting parts (12b) are irregularly arranged.
