Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outlet with excellent workability capable of directly wiring an optical fiber cable in a wall to the optical connection socket of the outlet and which is multifunctioned without giving influence on the electric sockets for power supply and telephone. SOLUTION: The outlet which is disposed on a wall is provided with: an outlet box 22 for housing electric wiring and optical wiring; a mounting frame for mounting an electric connection socket and an optical connection socket; and a cover plate 23 for covering the mounting frame, wherein an optical connector is directly connected to the end of the optical fiber cable, the optical connection socket 26a of a connection adapter 26 to which the optical connector is attached is mounted facing down at either side in the left and right of the mounting frame, and the cover plate 23 has an extended part 23b for housing the optical connector and connection adapter on the front face side.
