Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a hardening-treatment with a high frequency-induction to parts to be hardened in a journal part and a pin part of a crank shaft so as to be possible to perform the hardening-treatment with the high quality for these parts. SOLUTION: A high frequency-induction hardening apparatus has a first coil 31 and a second coil 32, and these coils are disposed so as to surround the journal part J as the part to be hardened. The coils 31, 32 respectively have one side coil piece disposed at the one side of the axial direction of the journal part J and the other side coil piece disposed at the other side. The coils 31, 32 respectively have the one side coil piece disposed at the one side in the axial direction of the journal part J and the other side coil piece disposed at the other side; and at the outer side of the one side coil piece, the end side positional chips 25a, 26a are disposed, and at the outer side of the other side, the other side positional chips 25b, 26b are disposed by shifting the phase in the circular direction to the one side positional chips 25a, 26a. The hardening liquid to the journal part J is supplied from gaps between the coil pieces of the respective coils 31, 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
