Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door opening/closing device preventing constraint by the ceiling. SOLUTION: The vehicle door opening/closing device is provided with a door rail 26 and a mounting base part 28 for mounting the door rail 26 to inside of a vehicle body 12 positioned in the upper side of a doorway 20. The mounting base part 28 has a base part through-hole 30a to insert a bolt 38 for fastening to a support part 24 of the vehicle body 12. The base part through-hole 30a is formed in the position of the same height as that of the door rail 26 with the mounting base part 28 fastened to the vehicle body 12. The door rail 26 has a rail main body 40 and a bearing holding member 44. A fixing side through-hole and a movable side through-hole are provided on the rail main body 40 and the bearing holding member 44, respectively. After passing through the both through-holes, the bolt 38 is inserted into the base part through-hole 30a of the mounting base part 28 and is screwed to the vehicle body 12.
