PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print a composite image just as a user expects by a simple operation when the composite image, in which a photograph is inserted in a frame, is printed. SOLUTION: A layout, a photographic image, and a frame image are selected by a user, and if a printing button is pressed down after entering an indication of change of a photography rotation angle, a photograph printer reads and analyzes a script, where PIF print definition information corresponding to the frame image selected this time is described (S100). Based on the user's instructions, the parameter included in the PIF print definition information is converted (S110). After that, based on the user setting information and PIF printing definition information after update, overlapping of the frame image and the photographic image is performed (S120). Then, data is obtained in such a form where the composite image of the photographic image inserted in the frame image is arranged in a predetermined layout.
