Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase the maximum application limit number of revolutions of a compact low-capacity compressor for exhibiting performance as a substitute for a large-capacity compressor. SOLUTION: When a high strength spacer 5 is inserted in a groove part of a rotor 2, strength of a rotor jaw part is increased. Alternatively, an L-shaped spacer is inserted to the rotor jaw part. A plurality of vane groove parts of the rotor are integrated together, and a material composition for the rotor consists of a plurality of materials. In this way, strength of the rotor jaw part is increased, and the maximum application limit number of revolutions is increased further. Thus, performance as a substitute for a high-capacity compressor is provided, and reduction in size and weight as requirements of a vehicle manufacturer is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
