Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when an apparatus which provides routing control information and network setting information is connected to a public network, for example, a hot spot, wrong routing control information and network setting information may be reported, and a network connecting environment may be destroyed or a connection route to a home network may be provided to an ill-intentioned third party. SOLUTION: In a routing control apparatus which notifies a connected network of routing control information and network setting information, in the case that the connected network is not a registered network (step 401), a notification of the routing control information and the network setting information is restricted (steps 403, 404).
