PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanizer and a tire vulcanizing method both capable of controlling pressure (an absolute value and a pressure-time change) of a heating and pressurizing medium supplied to the inner space of a green tire and a temperature (an absolute value and a temperature-time change) thereof without conditions (conditions of temperature and pressure) mutually influenced. SOLUTION: The tire vulcanizer 1 includes a first pressure sensor 3 arranged in a medium recovery passage 23 to measure pressure of nitrogen gas, a second pressure control valve 33 arranged in a medium passage 25 to control the pressure of the nitrogen gas from a signal from the first pressure sensor 3, a temperature sensor 10 arranged in a medium circulation passage 21 to measure a temperature of the nitrogen gas, and a heating means 8 arranged in the medium circulation passage 21 to control the temperature of the nitrogen gas supplied into a mold 14 from a signal of the temperature sensor 10 wherein the pressure and temperature of the nitrogen gas supplied to the inner space 2 of the green tire are individually controlled by the second pressure control valve 33 and the heating means 8.
