Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function for providing information for preventing the occurrence of a communication fault or specifying a position where a communication fault occurs, when the fault occurs in a communication system in which a plurality of devices make communication via a network. SOLUTION: Each of devices 1-3 exchanges a data packet to which ID information indicative of a time is added, alternately with the other device 1-3 in a fixed cycle and on the basis of the ID information added to the data packet received from the other device 1-3, it is detected whether the data packet is received in the fixed cycle.
