Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device which forbids heating operation by accurately detecting substitute connection of a lead wire or the like while avoiding an adverse effect caused by using a detecting resistance with constitution not increasing connection terminals. SOLUTION: The heating device comprises a heating forbidding means 11 maintaining the off state of a first transistor 30 and a second transistor 32 and forbidding the execution of hot water supply operation by a heating control means 12 through a control circuit 34 when voltage Vin generated to the first connection terminal 20 is at least the threshold voltage set based on output voltage Vb of a second DC power source 45, and resistance values of voltage dividing resistances 33, 31 and the control circuit 34 in the state of switching off both the first transistor 30 and second transistor 32.
