Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance heat transfer of an MRI inclined coil by using a phase-change material. SOLUTION: An MRI apparatus (10) includes the MRI inclined coil (50) and an MRI cooling system. The MRI cooling system is thermally connected with the MRI inclined coil (50) and includes a cooling circuit (51). A refrigerator (70) is connected with the cooling circuit (51). The refrigerator (70) is so constructed as to extract heat from a cooling agent (73) by pumping the cooling agent (73) so that it can be spread throughout the cooling circuit (51).
