Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic switch capable of lowering operation noise through restraint of transmission of impact noise generated as a plunger gets collided with a stationary core 6. SOLUTION: The stationary core 6 is set in division into a base part 6a opposed to the plunger, and a disc part 6b press-fitted into the base part 6a. The disc part 6b is structured by laminating a plurality of metal plates 60 (for instance, iron plates) set in a ring shape, and that, a space is partly or wholly secured between the adjacent metal plates 60. With this structure, a spring constant of the disc part 6b as a whole gets small, so that impact at collision of the plunger with the stationary core 6 due to attraction by the electromagnet is alleviated, and impact noise generated at the collision can be curtailed.
