Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boarding bridge easily mountable into an accurate position of an aircraft (e.g., a small aircraft) equipped with a door vertically turning around its lower end as a fulcrum or a door sliding downward even if an operator is not skilled. SOLUTION: A floor 11 of a cab 6 of the boarding bridge is formed with a recess 18 formed by recessing a part of the tip side to the root side. This recess 18 forms a door escape space 18a allowing the vertically turning door 101 of the aircraft 100 to pass through. The cab 6 comprises a longitudinally sliding crossover base 30. A turning mechanism for turning the cab 6 turns the cab 6 at a relatively high turning speed (= a first turning speed) when the cab 6 approaches the aircraft 100, and turns the cab 6 at a relatively low turning speed (= a second turning speed<the first turning speed) when the direction of the cab 6 is adjusted to the door 101 of the aircraft 100.
