Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boarding bridge mountable to an aircraft (e.g., a small aircraft) equipped with a door vertically turning around its lower end as a fulcrum or a door sliding downward. SOLUTION: A floor 11 of a cab 6 of the boarding bridge is formed with a recess 18 formed by recessing a part of the tip side to the root side. This recess 18 forms a door escape space 18a allowing the vertically turning door 101 of the aircraft 100 to pass through. The cab 6 comprises a longitudinally sliding crossover base 30. The crossover base 30 is free to change its state between an enclosed state enclosed in the floor 11 and a deployed state projected from the recess 18 of the floor 11. The crossover base 30 in the deployed state forms a passage which connects the floor 11 to a doorway 102 of the aircraft 100. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
