Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To narrow an occupying width in the X axis direction (the lateral direction) of a machining center. SOLUTION: Since processing is performed by positioning an optional position of a workpiece just under a tool by rotation in the C axis direction of a turntable 12, the movement in the Y axis direction and the movement in the Z axis direction of a main spindle 11, the occupying width in the X axis direction of a device body 10 is narrowed more than when performing the processing by moving the table in the X axis direction. Since the turntable 12 is arranged on the front side of a device body 10A, an ATC 13A is arranged in the rear of this table and a separate control board 14 independent of the device body 10A is also arranged in the rear of this ATC, the occupying width in the X axis direction of the machining center can be narrowly constituted even by this arrangement.
