Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection pipe fixing tool which easily and efficiently attaches a protection pipe to a wire, to its insulating portion in particular, by indirect hot-line work. SOLUTION: The protection pipe fixing tool 1, which is used for attaching to a wire a cylindrical protection pipe with a divided portion divided in the longitudinal direction by the indirect hot-line work, includes an expanding member 10 with a curved protruding surface, pressing the divided portion of the protection pipe with the curved protruding surface to expand the divided portion and to push the wire into the protection pipe, a support member with an abutting surface abutting on the outer periphery of the protection pipe, and a set of arm member 5 for rotatably holding both members. The set of arm member is attached to the ends of two gripping pieces of an indirect hot-line gripping tool so that the expanding member and the support member may face each other, holding the protection pipe in between.
