Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pants type disposable diaper which has an excellent wearing feeling and is excellent in the visibility of marking imparted to the diaper and for which the pattern of the marking can be changed by exchanging an absorbent main body. SOLUTION: The pants type disposable diaper 1 comprises an exterior member 16 forming respective parts of a front bodice 2, a crotch part 4 and a back bodice 6 and the absorbent main body 14 provided with an absorbent 22, a top sheet 18 and a back sheet 20. The absorbent main body 14 is joined at least to the crotch part 4 of the exterior member 16 in a detachable state, and the absorbent main body 14 is configured such that the marking 58 visible from the side of the back sheet 20 is attached and the marking 58 of the absorbent main body 14 is visible from the outer side of the exterior member 16.
