Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal gear pump in which the occurrence of cavitation is suppressed by suppressing the increase of the loss of suction pressure into a gap between both rotors. SOLUTION: A cylindrical drum 4 is disposed in a casing body 1 having a suction port 10 and a discharge port 17. The outer rotor 5 and the inner rotor 6 are stored in the drum 4. The outer rotor 5 is rotatably fitted into the hollow hole 54 of the drum 4. The inner rotor 6 is installed eccentrically to the outer rotor 5, internally engaged with the outer rotor 5, and rotatingly driven through a shaft 57. A port 7 is so formed in the drum 4 as to cover the both rotors 5, 6. A first suction hole 65 and a second suction hole 71 are formed to introduce a liquid from the vertical both end surfaces of the drum 4 into the drum. The first suction hole 65 is formed in a tapered one which is convergent toward the casing body 1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
