Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing, in high yield, a protein molecule having anticoagulating activity and other activity equivalent to at least human tissue factor activity inhibitor (TFPI) when being not enhanced and decreasing immunogenicity of protein when administered to mammal and having little glycosylation moiety. SOLUTION: The present invention provides a method for producing a chimeric protein containing Kunitz-type domain 1 of TFPI-2 and Kunitz-type domain 2 of TFPI. The method comprises (a) a step for providing a transformed host cell containing a polynucleotide sequence encoding the chimeric protein and further containing an expression control sequence which is compatible with expression of the polynucleotide sequence encoding the chimeric protein and (b) a step for incubating the transformed host cell under conditions expressing the polynucleotide sequence encoding the chimeric protein.
