Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine winding and a rotary electric machine, preventing corona discharge due to peeling and crack, caused when curing insulating resin, and stably supporting the rotary electric machine winding agaist electromagnetic force. SOLUTION: When inserting the rotary electric machine winding (8) into a winding groove 7G through protection insulating layers 15, 18 and 19, a semiconductive continuous sheet 13A which is half-folded along a longitudinal direction is wound and a semiconductive insulating layer 13 is formed between an interlayer insulating layer 11 of the rotary electric machine winding (8) and the protection insulating layers 15, 18 and 19. Thermal stress absorbing layers 13B and 13C absorbing thermal stress acting in a thickness direction of the insulating layer are formed on an inner side of the semiconductive sheet 13A which is half-folded.
