PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably supply power source for other equipment by using a battery pack composed exclusively for various equipment such as a personal computer. SOLUTION: This invention is applied to the battery pack integrating a battery cell and provided with a first connector part supplying the power source from the battery cell to the prescribed equipment through a terminal connected to the first connector part. The battery pack is provided with a second connector part which is in a shape of a general purpose connector. This second connector part is provided with a connection judging part connecting with the battery cell through a discharge control switch and judging whether or not a terminal exists in the second connector part. The second connector part is composed so that when judged that connection exists in the connection judging part (step S12), communication through the second connector part is attempted and when correct communication cannot take place, the discharge control switch is turned off (step S14).
