Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for automatic detection of surface characteristics of each layer of a three-dimensional article in order to form in stepwise each layer of a three-dimensional article by application of a mechanism of a steric shaping method and to manufacture a higher reliable article at high speed more accurately. SOLUTION: The automatic detection comprises a catching part area 25 and an automatic detection of a size of a cured cross-section area. An automatic selection of a recoating system is conducted on the basis of a device for making relation between (1) detected area, (2) the best recoating system by an empirical or other method in relating to a different kind of areas, and (3) a look-up table, other relating system or a recoating information on one hand and a thin layer containing a specific area on the other hand.
