Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time lag generated when volumes of a plurality of channels are changed. SOLUTION: Volume resistors 14L and 14R hold volume data indicating volume values for each channel. An interface section 12 receives volume control data Dcnt in serial format including volume data for each channel from an external host processor 140 and writes volume data of a channel to a corresponding volume register 14. When the value of the volume resistor 14 is updated, a volume setting section 16 changes the volume of the channel corresponding to the volume register 14. The interface section 12 writes volume data to the volume register 14L or 14R corresponding to a channel designated by the volume control data Dcnt in a first mode, and writes the volume data to all the volume registers 14 in a second mode.
