Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner capable of providing a high-resolution and high-definition image. SOLUTION: The nonmagnetic toner has toner particles containing resin, a colorant and a release agent and inorganic fine powder, wherein the toner has a viscosity at 100°C of 15,000-45,000 Pa s as measured with a flow tester and satisfies the formula (1): 0≤Et100 (mJ)≤500 and the formula (2): 1.00≤Et10/Et100≤1.60, wherein Et100 (mJ) represents the summation of rotary torque and perpendicular load obtained when a propeller type blade is allowed to enter perpendicularly into a toner powder layer in a container while rotating the blade at a peripheral velocity of the outermost edge of 100 mm/s, measurement is started from a position 100 mm away from the underside of the toner powder layer, and the blade is allowed to enter up to a position 10 mm away from the underside; and Et10 (mJ) represents the summation of rotary torque and perpendicular load upon rotation at 10 mm/s.
