Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a mobile crane enabling improvement of operability and safety of crane work by preventing difficult danger prediction of an operator due to difference of operating radius from warning to automatic stop due to difference of crane attitudes and difference of operating radius even in a same crane attitude, and preventing load swing due to quick stop of the crane. SOLUTION: The safety device 20 provided with a control device 30 which operates a relation or the like between lifting load and capacity according to working conditions from quantities of states of every elements input from a boom angle meter 21, a load meter 22, and a boom length meter 23, and quantities of states of establishment of the crane, and which automatically stops the crane when load rate L reaches 100%, is provided with a prediction information means informing prediction based on that the operated load rate L reaches prediction information load rate LAcalculated according to operating radius R of the lifting load and operating radius ratio α which is a ratio of a rated operating radius RSto the lifting load.
