PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic wave device, a filter, and a duplexer capable of suppressing the occurrence of secondary distortion. SOLUTION: An acoustic wave device, a filter and a duplexer include a first resonator S11a having a piezoelectric substance sandwiched between a pair of electrodes in the direction of an c-axis orientation or a polarization axis, and a second resonator S11b that is connected in series to the first resonator S11a and has the other piezoelectric substance sandwiched by a pair of electrodes so that one of the pairs of electrodes located in the direction of the c-axis orientation or the polarization axis has potential equal to that of one of the pair of electrodes of the first resonator S11a in the direction of the c-axis orientation or the polarization axis.
