Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery boiler having a supporting structure for reducing an earthquake responsive load while stably permitting great elastoplastic deformation repetitively operating thereon. SOLUTION: On a joint portion between a casing 1 of the exhaust heat recovery boiler and an internal brace 7, a vibration control device 30 is provided for absorbing earthquake energy perpendicularly operating on a gas flow with elastoplastic deformation. Thus, the earthquake energy perpendicularly operating on the gas flow can be effectively absorbed. Although the casing 1 is independently supported at its lower side on a ground by columnar legs 12, a vibration control device 31 is provided on a joint portion between an external brace 22 connected to the columnar legs 12 and a reinforcing member 14 for absorbing earthquake energy operating in a gas flowing direction with elastoplastic deformation. Thus, the earthquake energy operating in the gas flowing direction can be effectively absorbed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
