SOLUTION: In the lens driving device of a cellular phone, a first lead screw 821 and three gears 822 to 824 forming a first driving mechanism are arranged along the optical-axis orthogonal reference-plane A. A second lead screw 921 and three gears 922 to 924 forming a second driving mechanism are arranged along the optical-axis orthogonal reference-plane A. A first motor 81 is arranged along the optical-axis orthogonal reference-plane A on one side of the first driving mechanism. A second motor 91 is arranged along the optical-axis orthogonal reference-plane A on one side of the second driving mechanism and opposes to the first motor 81 with the optical-axis orthogonal reference-line B interposed therebetween.
