Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a message from a communication terminal on a network together with broadcasted video data. SOLUTION: A broadcast receiving part 101 receives broadcast data transmitted from a broadcasting station. Video data included in the broadcast data is displayed on a video displaying part 102. A message receiving part 103 receives a message notifying an event that occurs in a communication terminal from the communication terminal connected through a network. The broadcast data includes a display condition for displaying the message received by the message receiving part 103 together with the video data. A display control part 104 controls display video so as to display the message received by the message receiving part 103 together with the video data on the video displaying part 102 according to the display condition corresponding to the video data displayed on the video displaying part 102.
