Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headlamp module whose performance is not influenced by dirt or rain. SOLUTION: An LED lamp 30 among a plurality of LED lamps 21, ...,30 is a foreign substance detecting LED lamp different in light-emitting wavelength. A CPU 16 determines that a foreign substance adheres to a lamp cover when a difference between the average brightness of image data shot by a camera unit 1 when the foreign substance detecting LED lamp is turned on and the average rightness of image data shot by the camera unit when the foreign substance detecting LED lamp is turned off is not smaller than a predetermined value. When circular data are detected from the shot image data, the foreign substance is regarded as rain drop, and when the circular data are not detected, the foreign substance is regarded as dirt.
