Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an optical pickup device wherein the relative tilt of at least two objective lenses is adjusted so as to obtain a satisfactory reproduction signal. SOLUTION: A second objective lens 2 is irradiated with a luminous flux to adjust the tilt of the whole objective lens driving apparatus 11 by utilizing the luminous flux outgoing from the objective lens 2, and the objective lens driving apparatus 11 is fixed to an optical base 19 with an adhesive. Next, while a first objective lens 1 is irradiated with a luminous flux and a holder 3 for adjusting a tilt where the objective lens 1 is placed is held with fixtures, the tilt of the holder 3 for adjusting the tilt is adjusted by utilizing the luminous flux outgoing from the objective lens 1, and the holder 3 for adjusting the tilt is fixed to a lens holder 4 with the adhesive.
