PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit only a specific person to set various devices of a security device. SOLUTION: This security device has: a fingerprint reading sensor 10 reading a fingerprint; a fingerprint information storage part 20 storing previously registered information on the fingerprint; and a collation processing part 30 collating the information on the fingerprint read by the fingerprint reading sensor 10 and the information on the fingerprint stored in the fingerprint information storage part 20, and performing fingerprint authentication for deciding whether or not the information on the fingerprint read by the fingerprint reading sensor 10 coincides with the information on the fingerprint stored in the fingerprint information storage part 20. When the coincident information according therewith is included as the result of the fingerprint authentication by the collation processing part 30, the various devices 70, 70, etc. can be configured by a person trying to configure the various devices 70, 70, etc. of the security device.
