Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a checking device capable of securely checking whether an assembly such as a fitting valve is assembled properly or not. SOLUTION: The checking device 200 comprises a rotating mechanism 210 for rotating the fitting valve 100, and discrimination sections 240, 270 to allow a normally-assembled fitting valve (normal assembly) to be rotated by the rotating mechanism 210 and to prohibit a fitting valve 100 that is not assembled normally (abnormal assembly) from being rotated by the rotating mechanism 210 by making use of a shape difference between the abnormal assembly and the normal assembly.
