Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press work apparatus which has a simple structure, a small number of components, and a small size, and can be installed in any places without requiring a wide space, and can surely remove a scrap. SOLUTION: A scrap removing device 10 is provided in a specified scrap cutter 4 of the press work apparatus 1. The scrap removing device 10 stores a slide member 11 which can slide up and down in the direction nearly perpendicular to the lower surface of the scrap S, and is provided so as to project its upper end from the upper surface of the scrap cutter 4, and a spring 12 for energizing the slide member 11 upward, in a nearly cylindrical space 4b formed in the scrap cutter 4. In addition, a projecting portion 13 is formed at the portion of a segment die 6 corresponding to the scrap removing device 10 so as to lower the slide member 11 downward via the scrap S by projecting into the space 4b when the segment die 6 has lowered.
