Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of a secondary battery capable of executing appropriate charge discharge control based on a battery model in which a boundary condition is appropriately set. SOLUTION: A battery model part 60 contains an electrode reaction model part 61 based on the Butler-Volmer equation; a lithium concentration distribution model part in an electrolyte 62 analyzing the lithium (ion) concentration distribution in the electrolyte by the diffusion equation; a lithium concentration distribution model part in an active material 63 analyzing the ion concentration distribution in a solid layer within the active material by the diffusion equation; a current/potential distribution model part 64 for finding the potential distribution according to the conservation of charge; a heat diffusion model part 65; and a boundary condition setting part 66. A boundary condition setting part 66 sets a boundary condition on an electrode interface so that the variation with time of the lithium concentration on the interface, that is, the driving force of substance transport (the time base) is generated by the slippage from an electrochemical equilibrium state without determining the reacting weight on the interface by the positional substance concentration difference.
