Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can smoothly transfer a work piece. SOLUTION: A first holding means 21 includes a first suction pad 21a to be in contact with a periphery of a first face 10a of a work piece 10 and capable of sucking and holding the work piece 10. A second holding means 22 includes a second suction pad 22a to be in contact with a periphery of the second face 10b of the work piece 10 and capable of sucking and holding the work piece 10. A moving means moves the first holding means 21 and the second holding means 22 to transfer the work piece 10 from the first holding means 21 to the second holding means 22 via a state of nipping the work piece 10 by the first suction pad 21a and the second suction pad 22a. Pins 24 can protrude and retreat with respect to the first suction pad 21a. The pins 24 are made to protrude when the work piece 10 is nipped by the first suction pad 21a and the second suction pad 22a so as to forcibly form a gap between the first suction pad 21a and the first face 10a of the work piece 10.
