Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display from being disturbed by a hand even when a large-sized display device is arranged on the back of a camera. SOLUTION: A camera main body 100 is held by putting the thumb and the middle finger of one and the same hand on the lower surface and the upper surface of the camera main body 100 respectively so as not to cover the back of the camera with the hand. Since a release button is provided on an operation part 5 projecting backward from the back of a main body, it is easily operated with the forefinger of the hand to hold the camera with.
