Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame, which can contrive to improve its whole strength without increasing its thickness, and a white board employing the frame. SOLUTION: The frame 12 is arranged so as to surround the outer peripheral side of a plate-like body 11. The frame 12 consists of an accepting part forming body 15 for accepting the outer peripheral side of the plate-like body 11 and a reinforcing body 16 provided on the outer surface side of the accepting part forming body 15. The reinforcing body 16 is provided so as to form a closed tubiform interior space S between a planar part 18 and the body by curvingly extending from the fore part of the planar part 18 in the accepting part forming body 15 to its back part. In a fore surface part 19 locating at the fore part of the accepting part forming body 15, a forwardly open recess 19A is provided so as to allow to catchingly support an optional part such as a tray 13 or the like by means of the recess 19A.
