Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing ink composition having a solvent formulation capable of controlling a swelling amount of a silicone resin and exhibiting mass productivity of a color filter in a step for coating a silicone resin surface with the printing ink composition to form a coated surface when the color filter is manufactured by reversal offset printing, and a color filter using this. SOLUTION: The printing ink composition used for the reversal offset printing method comprises (I) a coating step for coating the silicone resin surface with the printing ink containing a coloring material, a binder polymer, a cross-linking material and a solvent to form a coated surface, (II) a removal step for pressing a letterpress formed in a predetermined shape to the coated surface to transfer/remove the ink composition of a projection portion of the letterpress, and (III) a transfer step for transferring the ink composition remained on the coated surface to a substrate. In the printing ink composition, a quality of the formed pattern is not reduced even if a plurality of printing steps are repeated at mass production. The color filter uses this.
