Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of causing injury to a passenger if an automobile is rapidly decelerated with a seating comfortableness of the passenger secured. SOLUTION: An automobile seat 1 is provided with: a seat cushion 2 structured with a cushion material attached on a seat cushion frame 4; an stopper slope 9 arranged as a stopper portion extended crossways below a rear position by an appropriate distance from the front end of the seat cushion 2; a panel portion 10 arranged ahead of the stopper slope 9 of the seat cushion frame 4; and a seat belt 6 connected to an emergency lock-type winder. A tiltable portion 15, which tilts downward if a thrust of a prescribed force or larger acts from upward, is provided in at least a part of the front side of the stopper slope 9 on the panel portion 10. The tiltable portion 15 is arranged so as to come to a position below the waist 22 of the passenger 20 if the seat belt 6 is locked. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
