PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit assembling method capable of enhancing the position precision of liquid discharge nozzles in a liquid droplet discharge device, a head unit assembling apparatus and the liquid droplet discharge device. SOLUTION: The head unit assembling method for positioning and fixing liquid droplet discharge heads on a unit plate includes a head measuring process S7 for measuring the precision of the liquid droplet discharge heads including the positional precision of respective liquid droplet discharge nozzles using the liquid droplet discharge nozzles as a measuring basis and a position adjusting process S9 for positioning the liquid droplet discharge heads having the liquid droplet discharge nozzles at a predetermined position of the unit plate by positioning the liquid droplet discharge nozzles at a predetermined position set to the measuring basis in the head measuring process S7.
