Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board mounting socket which is protected so that an unexpected force will not be applied to the tip sides of terminal pins 14 from the outside during the transportation or the like. SOLUTION: In the printed circuit board mounting socket for mounting a printed circuit board in which numerous terminal holes are bored on the socket body 10 where numerous terminal pins 14 are planted and installed, corresponding to the numerous terminal holes by inserting the terminal pins 14 into the terminal holes, respectively, a movable guide plate 30 made of an insulating material into which numerous insertion holes 32 are bored corresponding to the numerous terminal pins 14 are arranged and installed at the socket body 10 freely movably in the axial direction of the terminal pins 14, by inserting the terminal pins 14 into the insertion holes 32 respectively from a position of tight adherence to the socket body 10, up to the position where the tip of the terminal pins 14 is not protruded. Spring coils 40 are installed which elastically energize the movable guide plate 30 in the tip direction of the terminal pins 14. The movable guide plate 30 receives a force from the outside, and the tip of the terminal pins 4 will not be bent. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
