Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin for an electrophotographic functional component which can more increase the positive electrifying property of an electrophotographic functional component by being used for the surface of an electrophotographic functional component in contact with negative charged toner, and can obtain an excellent image. SOLUTION: The resin for the electrophotographic functional component contains positive charge control resin including an amino group and a fluoroalkyl group. Percentage A of maximum ionic strength originating in the amino group to total ionic strength to molecular weight 1850 obtained by measuring the hardened surface in a time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (TOF-SIMS) is 0.1% or more, and percentage B of maximum ionic strength originating in the fluoroalkyl group to the total ionic strength to the molecular weight 1850 is 1.0% or more.
