Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially advantageously producing porous polyamide powder having a uniform particle size. SOLUTION: The method for producing porous polyamide powder comprises mixing a polyamide solution with a non-solvent of the polyamide and water to prepare a polyamide-containing mixed solution, allowing the polyamide-containing solution to stand so as to precipitate polyamide porous particles in the polyamide-containing mixed solution and drying the polyamide porous particles. The polyamide-containing mixed solution is prepared by adding a polyamide solution that is adjusted to a liquid temperature ≥5°C higher than the liquid temperature of the mixed solvent and has a polyamide concentration of 8-30 mass% to the previously prepared mixed solvent of a non-solvent of polyamide and water while stirring the mixed solvent.
