Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dewatering device for a water-containing material where clogging of a belt is prevented, dewatering can be securely performed, the improvement of dewatering capacity is attained, and the improvement of dewatering treatment efficiency is attained. SOLUTION: In the dewatering device comprising either roller 11 and the other roller 12 with rotary shafts P1, P2 made parallel, rotatively provided at a base 1 and pressing each other, where a water-containing material W is fed from the side where the rotating directions of the respective rollers 11, 12 are close to each other, and moisture is squeezed from the water-containing material W between the respective rollers 11, 12 and is discharged to the side where the rotating directions of the respective rollers 11, 12 are separated from each other, many pores 14 are formed at the wall part of the one roller 11, the suction nozzle 20 of a suction machine 23 having an opening 21 in slidable contact with the inside face is provided to the inside of the other roller 14, and a net-shaped endless belt 30 through which the squeezed moisture can pass is wound between the one roller 11 and a rotary roller 31.
