Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to quickly change a foldable cellular phone 1 from an oblong state into a longwise state with one hand while holding a second enclosure. SOLUTION: The foldable cellular phone 1 is provided with a first enclosure having a liquid crystal display unit 2 on its surface, the second enclosure having an operating unit on its surface, and a hinge portion for coupling the first and second enclosure foldably/unfoldably. In the cellular phone 1, the liquid crystal display unit 2 is supported on the first enclosure so as to be changed into the oblong state and the longwise state via a cam mechanism 10.
