Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor blade used in turbine engines for reducing damages and defects due to resonation. SOLUTION: This rotor blade 100 comprises an air foil 106 radially extending between the base end and the top end of a blade and a top end shroud 112 extending from the top end of the blade. The top end shroud 112 has both ends 118, 120, a peripheral width between the both ends, a first district 126 increased in thickness in cross section more than the adjacent portion of the top end shroud and forming a first interlock surface 122 adjacent to the first end of the both ends and forming a part of the first end, a second district 128 increased in thickness from the adjacent portion of the top end shroud and forming a second interlock surface 124 adjacent to the second end of the both ends and forming a part of the second end, and an intermediate portion 130 extending along the peripheral width between the first and second districts and reduced in thickness in cross section from the first and second districts.
