Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a home agent and a mobile node capable of using IPsec need to hold security policy matched between the both and new security policy needs to be manually registered to maintain IPsec communication in case that network renumbering occurs. SOLUTION: The home Agent has a means of reporting the occurrence of network renumbering to the mobile node by mobile prefix discovery, and dynamically updating and registering its security policy in a security policy database. The mobile node having received the report on the occurrence of the network renumbering, on the other hand, has a means of dynamically updating and registering the security policy in the security policy databasea as well.
